Common questions

Where is my data stored?
On your device, and if you're signed into iCloud, synced privately to your own iCloud account. Kepto has no server and no account of its own, and the developer never sees your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How is my data backed up?
If you're signed into iCloud, Kepto automatically syncs your items to your own private iCloud account. The developer never sees it. If you're not using iCloud, everything stays on your device.

Will my receipts sync across devices?
Yes, if you're signed into the same iCloud account on each device, your items sync across them through your private iCloud, directly between your devices and Apple. See our Privacy Policy for details.

I lost my phone — can you recover my data?
We can't, because we never have a copy. But if you were signed into iCloud, your items will be there when you sign in on a new device.
